A school has the ability to transform a society because it teaches the most essential knowledge to a child. It is incumbent to start teaching from children’s whatever social behaviour change want to see in the society. If students adopted change then a very minimum period of time is needed to teach others. A child is similar to shapeless water whatever shape you want of water put in that shape similarly, for transforming students guide them in a particular direction to accomplish the goals. A well-educated child not only scores good marks in exams at school but also learn about the principle of good society such as respecting seniors, speaking with honesty etc.

How students teach society?

Students transform the world with their unique proficiency in different fields. Also, students continuously guide their families about the good habits. For example, A student I know she is an ardent supporter of a pollution-free community. Whenever someone comes to her house with non-biodegradable bags, she guides them to avoid using non-biodegradable bags.

Another student I met who continuously spread awareness among friends by stopping using hazardous products such as using straw pipes, avoid plastic bottles. Even her friends changed her name to tease her. But still, she follows to support the society by creating awareness with her friends.

Methods for teaching student at a school for waste segregation.

  1. A game for playschool Kids.

Children only learn the language of games, A game of recycling relay is good practice to teach kids, an empty dustbin provided to each team and another bucket containing waste items needs to be sorted, a team which empty the items bucket first correctly wins the game. Once game will start the first member of each team pick one item from items and move towards the sorted bins and drop item according to wet, dry waste. Further, move back to the start point then another member of the team follow similarly.

2. A tour to landfills.

Students in higher schools are lethargic but understood pristine problems. A tour to landfills can help them to know about what is landfill? what is stored in a landfill? And how they can contribute to saving landfills pollution.

3. A celebration on Earth Day.

Every year encourage school staff, students to celebrate earth day by learning more about the environment and spreading environment knowledge with others. A learning topic can be waste segregation, plastic usage consumption. Ask students about how their mother segregate home waste and how composting is done in their society? Further, suggest them an accurate way of doing kitchen waste segregation.
